I'm not overly familiar with Sanguis myself, but before when you and Ren fought, it seemed it was our connection that calmed you down.
Perhaps moonlacing with someone could achieve similar results.

[ the message sends abruptly. probably because ryuji's flung the communicator aside, realizing his mistake before it crops up again. this is ridiculous...it wasn't this bad when the season began, but it seems to be getting worse and worse over time. ]

but only because: he's flung his device off to parts unknown again, and proceeded to tear through the tiny closet in his room...and the hallway...and the rest of the apartment at large. ryuji's roommate's going to have a field day scolding him as soon as she gets back from her training.

[He texts to warn of his arrival, although the sudden and enduring silence on Ryuji's end is concerning. What, exactly, is he doing?

He hurries to Ryuji's apartment and knocks, tone urgent. Well, the door hasn't been torn down yet and the windows all seem to be intact, which is a start.]

Ryuji? It's me.

[ what, indeed? there were attempts made...to put more clothing than just his underwear, in theory. in practice, ryuji's flung everything every which way, and the single shirt he's wearing is shredded and torn beyond repair. it's neither the worst fashion statement he's ever attempted to make, nor a deliberate one, but he's clearly given up on achieving anything more.

he doesn't answer right away. when he does, it's with an overdramatic slam of the door, and a...brick of dry noodled wedged between his fangs? he crunches down on it noisily, his eyes wild. somehow this seems like a fitting breakfast for the birthday boy, but at the same time... ]

WHO THE HELL INVITED YOU?!

[ yusuke. yusuke did. it's like he's already forgotten this conversation and moved on, completely hogging the doorframe. he's the picture of a complete feral child, clawtips digging into the building material. ]

[What a mess. Here Ryuji was on his birthday, behaving like this, and now Yusuke has to find a way to calm him down before the others also see him in this sorry state. Still, he barely even flinches, as if he'd expected this... if not worse.]

[ this isn't a compliment, ryuji. he doesn't know any better, puffing up to his full height, which...still isn't impressive, if he still has to look up to yusuke. damn it. ]
